How To Confirm Uganda Sim Card Registratuion Status

By KWS Adams Sep 6, 2014

If you live in Uganda or planning to come to Uganda, you should know it that its mandatory to have your SIM Card registered as required by law since that is the only way your SIM Card will be eligible to receive and make calls across all networks in Uganda and all others when you are using the roaming service.

And to register your SIM Card, you need to have some personal documents including your identification and a passport photo which you will take to your SIM service provider designated registration place and get registered.

And just like you know how many activities involve drawbacks, the same applies to this where many end up registering at fake agents and find their lines cut off.

To conform your registration status, all you need to do is simple. You should get you phone and dial *197# and press yes or okay and wait for the confirmation. If you are registered, it will be shown and if not, still it will be.
