How To Process A Duplicate Motor Logbook At URA (In Card/Not As Owner)

Just like it is for new motor registration log books regardless of whether for a vehicle, m/cycle, car, trailer and any other being issued by the Uganda Revenue Authority, the same applies when it comes to the Duplicate LB’s in any event which may call for it.

Whether you bought a vehicle and the previous owner disappeared with no traces, whether you lost your L/Book or any other, such a situation or situations do call for an issue of a duplicate registration card and which is when the URA intervenes as its one of their work.

One thing you should note is what triggers your need for the duplicate log book and below are situations and their procedures when applying for a duplicate log-book for your motor in Uganda assuming that the cards where abouts is no where (I mean when you don’t have the card with you – lost).
