Akismet Spam Comments plugin

Spam comments is one of the common problems which many WordPress websites suffer from. The entire posting work done using automated bots, spammers are able to create accounts with no any additional information apart from the longer usernames and later submit duplicate promotional posts and comments

Before I started using WordPress content management system, Inever knew that a time would   comed and I would also struugle on how to stop spam bots on my website. But when I started recieving multiple and uncontrollable signups, and later fake articles which turned to be harder to moderate and so forth, I knew I had to look for a solution.

You can’t imagine that on the very day I opened user registration on my website, the same day I received more than 100 new accounts and imagine with nothing like a detailed personal information other than only a username. At first, I didn’t mind since I had a thought that may be, the new registrants were real humans who had the same dream of sharing with others just like I do not knowing that I was totally wrong.

Within the next few days, I had to look for the best Content Plagiarism Checker since that’s what I had planned to use when it came to checking all submitted posts but guess what, that kind of work required a lot of time and which I never had.

From what I saw and read, I agreed that my Blog was being spammed other than having real members, something I had to stop and which is why I am sharing with you a quick and easy way to get rid of all the above using Akismet spam protection for WordPress.
