Transfer Domain Name

Wondering how to go about transfer of domain name from Web4africa.net to Godaddy.com? Don’t worry, this post is specifically written for the above. By the time you read in in full, you will be able to learn how you can go about transferring your Web4africa domain name to Godaddy as your next domain registrar.

Regardless of what your call for the transfer, and or your reason for your urge to do the transfer, just know that the entire process is very simple, easy and takes only a few minutes once you follow this guide. Yes, I used this same procedure to transfer one of my domains from Web4africa to Godaddy not because they are not a good provider but rather, for my own reasons for example wanting to switch to another registrar who allows personal domain management at any time of choice, and which isn’t the case with Web4africa.

Below are the step by step guide on how to go about doing your domain name transfer from Web4africa to Godaddy. Yes, just follow the steps below and you will be done. Please note that you will need to have all account log in details at Web4africa, and at Godaddy since you will need to do the authorization. These are the same procedures when doing an incoming domain transfer to a Godaddy account from yahoo, network solutions, square space, hostgator, wix, namecheap and others.

Pay for the transfer – You will need to initiate a transfer payment at Godaddy for your domain name. You will be required to log into your existing account, and or create a new account and complete the checkout process. After, you will be emailed with the Transaction ID and Security Code since they will be required. These will be sent to your email address.

Initiate a Transfer – Log into your Godaddy account and go to Domains. Select Transfer and click on Add new. Enter the Transaction ID and Security Code you copied from your email address and hit on next.

gET the EPP code – Now log into your Web4africa account. Select the domain you want to transfer, hit on registra lock and lick on disable. Now go to EPP code and copy it.

Paste EPP Code – OPP once you have the EPP code, go back to Godaddy account and enter the code and finish. You are now done. Just wait for the confirmation messages which will come from Godaddy letting you of the approval request, and the message from Web4africa letting you know about the domain name transfer request.
