How to add a domain name to your Hostinger account
If you already have an existing domain name you have been using from other hosting providers or just bought it but you have taken on the deal to migrate to Hostinger as your choice, this is for you. What you need to get started is following the below instructions.
Instructions
- Log in to Hostinger cPanel
- Click on New Hosting and then on New Hosting account.
- Select your hosting plan based on your choice
- Choose a Domain Type by changing the box to your choice i.e. domain for your own domain or sub-domain for their free subdomains.
- Type in your domain name in format example.com other than www.example.com
- Enter your own password or click Generate for the system to create for you one.
- Hit continue and wait to execute. You will be redirected to the next page where you will review your order including the domain name, plan, and price.
- Check the box for agreeing to terms and hit order.
You will see a message like “Account example.com has been created successfully“. You are ready and the next step will be pointing your domain name-servers to your hosting account example.

Since i believe that you have to share your experienes, no matter good or bad I stopped by to do that.
I really enjoy their services and now am a premium user with great live 24/7 support, a pretty recently added feature that I like a lot, much more than tiket sytem.
The Free plan is perfect for testing and learning purposes. Tried it myself. Now I am using the Premium plan and am very happy with my choice. The UI is very friendly and if I get any issues, the customer support helps them solve quickly.
Ttlly agree about the free plan. Yet a couple days ago my site went down coz of traffic, so does that happen with Premium? Need to know, should I upgrade or choose another host. thnx
Premium plans on both come with some additional features which ensures that your site is always up and running.. Not so sure which host you are using though but all I know is that with premium, you get to your expectations and besides, there is money back guarantee just in case you find it awful.

Hostinger absolutely brilliant so far. I started out just intending to test a CMS I’m developing, but I intend to use them from now on.
HOSTINGER is good but there free hosting keeps off all the time and with less query support. You wait up to 24 hours for the site to be back.
I use Hostinger India and the service is a great one. I like the customer care and am glad they respond in time even though its a free service. Uptime is good and I will consider upgrade later but not now.
Overall, I love any free service which has customer care like 000webhost. The same applies to Hostinger..
