In this tutorial, I am sharing with you how to backup / restore your entire / full blogger blog content including posts, comments, pages and etc. If you have been wondering of its possibility, the answer is simple, YES, it is very possible, and a feature which is provided free by Google. All you need is to follow the simple steps below and you will be secure with your contents.

Whether you want to migrate your posts to a new blog or even move them to WordPress, oh yes this will work out for you. Like we all know, keeping your website or blog contents secure is that dream many [[[webmasters]]] dream of. This is because of the fact that creating them is not an easy task as it takes a lot of time and commitment. The same applies to losing your traffic just in case you lose any. Okay, below are the procedures.

How to backup Blogger entire blog contents eg Posts

Blogger Back up content

1. Log into the “Blogger” dashboard and to the Blog you want to “backup”.
2. Scroll down and click on Settings.
3. Click on other settings and wait for page to load.
4. Click on “backup content” under “Import & back up”.

5. Click on save to computer, the wait for XML download to prompt start.
6. Select the backup location on your computer and finish downloading the file.

You can even go to Template, edit HTML and copy the source code file. Open Notepad on your computer, paste the copied sheet and save in secure location eg on your computer or flash.

How to Restore Blogger entire blog contents eg Pages

If you are performing a content restoration on another Blogspot Blog, you simply need to follow the same procedures above with the only changing that this time, you click on “Import content”.

Once you click on that, you will be prompted to prove you are human, selecting the location of your exported XML file and uploading it. You can also decide whether you want to publish all imported posts automatically or do it manually. On the other hand, if you want to publish to a different platform eg WordPress, then you will use an Import plugin. Good luck!
