How To Reset/Bypass Forgotten Computer Admin Password
If you know how to reset a computer admin password or even bypass it, then lucky you are but if you don’t know, then I have just left you some step. What I am sharing is what I went through these two days just like you see that I had not posted any update on my Website. It all begun when I lost the my wallet which had contained a small paper where I had written my Admin Password as it was a bit longer. After searching for the wallet for a bout 5 hours, I decided to call a friend who works in IT at some company and what he told me was to carry my CPU and take it to him but good enough, he finally decided to come home and we started.
Option One – Accessing your computer in Safe Mode is the first thing you can try just in case you have an important document you want to may be get from it using a flash drive. All you need to do is to restart your computer, press the F8 key and choose Safe mode from the list of options. You can finally make a backup password recovery CD and get back to what you want.
Option Two – Try to access your computer using Net User profile. Restart your computer, press key F5, choose option boot with command prompt, type net user and press enter. Then type again ‘Net user [Username of the Account]*’ without the [‘], press enter and after the after tiller south *, you can reset your password to whatever you want.
Option Three – Use Machine Administrator by way of pressing commands CTRL + ALT + DEL, login as different user, enter Administrator in user name and Admin in password.
Option Four – Open your CPU, look out for a three Jumper near the CMOS battery on the motherboard, remove and move the jumper to the other two remaining pins for about 30 – 40 seconds and place the jumper back to the original position. Try to see if the password is reset and in case it isn’t still, remove the CMOS battery for the same seconds, replace it and power on your Computer.
