how to force google to crawl my site

Forcing Google to crawl a website is one of the ways to make website content appear in search results immediately after they are published.

The whole idea is to manually tell Google about your content by introducing the link (s) you just added to their search crawlers. Within a few minutes, your content will be available in search for as long as other factors remain constant. I have personally used this procedure on clients’ websites and the results are great!

Why Force google to crawl websites?

It’s obvious that having your website content indexed in Google and other search engines increases traffic. In situations when Google takes a long to show your content in search results after publishing, you may consider forcing Google to crawl your website.

The question is, do you know you force google to crawl your site? What exactly do you need?

For many newbies or beginners, this may sound confusing. But for the oldies, many know what to do although resfreshing might also help. From experience, whether new or old posts, having them appear in Google search results, or any other search engine, for example, Bing or Yahoo results is an ultimate dream of any webmaster. Athough sometimes one has to use force, traffic coming search engines especially for newly published contents means that they were indexed successfully.

If you have always wondered why you see some articles with “published minutes back”, etc, understand it that many use this same force index  I am sharing with you below. All you need is to keep reading this since by the time you go through it, you will have found an easy, free and quick way to do it and below is what you need to do.Appear in Google Instantly

Instructions to force Google to crawl site

  • Log into Google search console tool
  • Select the site you want to force crawl
  • Click URL inspection
  • Paste the new post URL
  • Click enter and wait
  • Click request indexing

Wait until the process is completed. Wait for a few minutes and search for the same URL or post title in Google search. Your newest posts should be visible in Google search results in the next few minutes if not seconds.

Note: You need to have marked your site, and any other URL with an index tag. Marking your URLs with no index tags won’t help you achieve the results since Google search robots will ignore all URLs marked as no-index. More on Asking Google to recrawl your website URLs.

For Bing search and others, just do the same and go to where you see Submit URL’s and you will be done. But of course, you will need to have an active account on those others. See instructions on how to create a Bing webmaster tools account.
