CARE PNG is looking for a consultant to undertake an analysis of agricultural cooperatives and community-based farmer organisations in the Papua New Guinea highlands, and identify opportunities to increase women’s participation and leadership. The consultant will design key interventions to support the organisational development of these farmer groups.

The consultant should have prior experience working with farmer groups or cooperatives and have a demonstrated understanding of working with a gender transformative approach within the agricultural sector in international development. The estimated duration of the consultancy is 24 days across the period November 2015 to February 2016.
