CARE is a leading international humanitarian aid organisation fighting global poverty, with a special focus on working with women and girls to bring lasting change to their communities.
CARE Australia is looking to fill the position of Program Quality Advisor in our Vanuatu Office to assist with our response to Cyclone Pam. This position is responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring of key quality systems and processes, and works closely with others to develop Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning frameworks to ensure better use of information and data in program implementation and design. The role also provides technical advice to program staff and builds staff capacity in core skills to support program quality approaches, systems and initiatives.
We’re looking for someone with relevant overseas field experience in project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation as well as advanced knowledge of development program concepts, analysis and tools. Your experience in capacity building of staff and a proven ability to lead, coach and motivate staff will be complemented your ability to respond effectively to challenges and strong decision making skills. Your high level communication skills including liaison, representation and negotiation skills as well as the ability to build and maintain networks and relationships will be highly regarded.
