Breakdown of the UPDF recruitment exercise 2022

• 8300 LDPs recruited from various districts from 18 June to 04 July 2022.
• 100 Medical personnel Special Recruitment from 30 June to 01 July 2022 at Kololo Airstrip, Kampala
• 1000 Drivers and Mechanics Special Recruitment from 30 June to 01 July 2022 at Gadhafi Barracks, Jinja
• 600 Air force Special Recruitment at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds, Kampala

General requirements for UPDF recruitment 2022

• Must be a citizen of Uganda holding the original National Identity Card
• Must be in good health, medically fit, and ready to undergo a physical and medical examination
• Should be aged between 18-30 years
• LDPs recruits should possess a minimum education of S.4 or its equivalent
• Must be of good character and supported by letters from LCs and GISOs.
