How to turn on predictive text (auto -correction, auto -complete) in Samsung smartphones. Do you own a Galaxy or Note series including but not limited to S1, S2, S3, S4, S5,S6, Note 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10 or any other? This post will show you the step by step guide about turning on, and or turning off the above feature on your smartphone device.

Like we all know, the Samsung devices are favorites of many. And yes, very many of us use those devices, and would go about them even when there are others – but of course, this being a choice as per user. The Predictive Text (Auto-correct) feature is one of those many like to have turned-on, on their devices for reason being that it eases the entire process when composing a text message or even writing that whatsapp text.

It adds suggested words when you start the word just after the very first characters of the word you are writing. And this meaning that you can easily chose from that list and add it there by helping you do it easily and faster. Now that we have seen what predictive text can do right? How to turn on/off predictive text on Samsung smartphones?

While a slight change in the menu may occur, many of the Samsung note and galaxy series including the S1, S2, S3, S4, S5,S6, Note 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10 or any other have the same guide when it comes to enabling and disabling the predictive texts on and off. See below.

1. Tap the messages and select create a new message or respond and wait for keyboard or typing area to load.
2. Tap and hold the Gear (settings icon) or XT9 and waiting for some pop up menu to load.
3. Tap the Settings icon in that pop up menu and Turn on or turn off Predictive text.
That’s all. Your Samsung smartphone is ready to help you with suggested words as you write.
