Taking a screenshot on iPhone 13/12/11 or any other model including the iPad and iPod touch devices allows you to capture and take timely real appearance pictures of your phone screen that can be used for other purposes including in documents, files, and or sharing with others.

Unlike other devices that require additional installation of screen capturing apps, Apple iOS 15, iOS 14, iOS 13, and iOS 12 devices including the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices have an inbuilt feature that allows a user to do screen shot and capture screen events instantly, for example capturing the iPhone X IMEI for sharing purpose.

The good thing is that screenshots taken can automatically be saved in the selected folder of choice as photos with an option for recording to be saved as PDF files.
