As we head towards Christmas and welcoming the new year, scammers have not laid down a hand. Yes, they have not even slept basing on what they are bringing out each day that comes by. If you haven’t fallen victim already, then you are lucky but if you have, then I am sorry since many share having fallen victims of this VisaCard Award which is ongoing.

The more we humans need money, then many the traps which are laid and some of which can’t be bypassed. You can’t imagine that in this Scam email which is trending right now, the sender claims that the recipient has account “HAS WON VisaCard Award PRIZE of $ 1,000,000.00”. The same message goes on to tell the recipient to feel free to “OPEN THE ATTACHED FILE FOR MORE DETAILS, MOVE THE EMAIL MESSAGE TO YOUR INBOX SO YOU CAN VIEW THE ATTACHED FORM SHOULD IN CASE THE EMAIL WAS MISTAKENLY DELIVERED TO YOUR SPAM”e and claim that the email is not harmful.

You are told to download the attachment and open it where further and additional information can be found. Once you open it, you will wonder what you will be request to avail including but not limited to your personal info including names, address, phone numbers and so forth.

YOUR ACCOUNT HAS WON VisaCard Award PRIZE, OPEN THE ATTACHED FILE FOR MORE DETAILS. MOVE THE EMAIL MESSAGE TO YOUR INBOX SO YOU CAN VIEW THE ATTACHED FORM SHOULD IN CASE THE EMAIL WAS MISTAKENLY DELIVERED TO YOUR SPAM.

Trust me, once you follow what they request, the next option is requesting you to pay money which looks small but you will be eventually conned and scammed. Simple way how, don’t open the attachment. Just trash the mail and you will be done. Don’t for reason being, if you didn’t participate, there is no way you can win..
