New Message From Citibank New York Scam

Scammers have never slept. Each and everyday that comes by, they find new ways to scam people. This they do by way of creating different options in which they target people and there by scamming them in the end.

Currently, there is this message with subject “NEW MESSAGE FROM CITIBANK NEW YORK” and sent from email “[email protected]” with reply-to email message “[email protected]” you need to be aware of. This message is scam and one you shouldn’t attempt to do what it requests.

Even G-mail has marked this message as “Spam’, which too helps one to know that indeed this email message is scam other than being from the Source “Citibank New York” it claims to be from. Below are the contents of the email.

  1. Nice article, If you plan to make a wire transfer or to receive money from somewhere else through this method, then you will need Citibank routing number. This number is the nine-digit figure used by the Federal Reserve to identify the bank location or the district in which the bank receiving the money is.
