Procedures on registering a business name in Uganda
1. Visit URA portal and initiate a Payment registration for business name search.
2. Pay the money in the Bank and proceed to any URSB offices or Online and submit the search details.
3. You should then wait for an average time of between 2 hours to a full day for the business name to be cross checked and get the results. If it is not available, you will be given alternative names, and or to sumbit another name.
4. Once the business name has been reserved, you should fill in the business name registration form which you can download free online, get an assessment, pay money in the bank and submit well signed and filled form together with the name reservation receipt.
