How To Acquire/Rent A Box Number In Uganda [P.O. In addition to providing mail box rental to clients, Posta Uganda has other services which include EMS Courier Services, Mail Services, Money Transfer (Post Cash), Post Bus (Passenger and Goods transportation), Post Shop, Virtual Box and many others offered on both a personal and corporate levels.

Box Rental Requirements For Individuals.

1. Valid Identification documents which can be a Drivers license, a Passport and any other.
2. Passport sized photographs which clear facial view.
3. The required premium fees.

Box Rental Requirements For Non-Individuals

Enter your email, select new user, enter name, wait, add and finish all using this Free.

1. Valid Identification documents which can be a Drivers license, a Passport and any other for the directors or owners.
2. Passport sized photographs which clear facial view.
3. Certificate of incorporation or business/company/organization registration.
4. The required premium fees.

Once you have all the above, you can approach any of the Posta Uganda branches country wide, pick the Mail Box rental application forms, fill them and submit them where you will immediately be allocated your rented Box Number. Some of the Posta Uganda branches may include Main Office (Posta GPO) on Kampala Road next to Bank of Uganda, Posta Clock Tower, Posta Bulange, Posta Wandegeya, Posta Nakawa and other district branches across Uganda for example Posta Hoima, Posta Masindi, Posta Gulu, Posta Mukono and others.

    However I would like to enquire whether one can apply for the Box no. in Kampala while at upcountry office when he wants the number to be P.O. BOX xxxx, Kampala. If yes, how long does it take?

    1. It is instant application and instant approval. But you should be in Kampala, and or come and sign up from here. It is not done online..

        1. Please cross check with the postal office where you want to rent from eg GPO, Clock Tower, Mengo and etc. All have different prices. Thanks for trusting Posta Uganda services.
