Steps and procedures on register a company in Uganda
1. Visit the URA portal and initiate a Payment registration for a company name search.
2. Pay the money in the Bank and proceed to URSB offices or Online and submit the search details.
3. You should then wait for an average time of between 2 hours to a full day for your company name to cross-check and get the results. If it is not available, you will be given alternative names, and or to submit another name.
4. Once the company name has been reserved, you should make copies of articles and memorandum of association, buy and fill all required company forms, get an assessment, pay money in the bank and submit well-signed and filled forms.
5. You should then wait for your company to be registered after which you will be issued a certificate of incorporation.
